Isis, the most famous Goddess of Ancient Egypt, was the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus. Isis had a reputation as an enchantress. Her magic was allied to the wisdom of Thoth and was given to mankind as a skill of healing. Isis performed, for the first time in history, the rites of embalmment to restore Osiris to Eternal Life.
