The original chest found beneath the bed of King Tutankhamun's tomb contained an ivory pomegrante. Cartouches of the King and Queen are inscribed on the front. The knobs were used to secure the box by means of a cord wrapping. Half-size replica of cultured onyx and hand detailed.
