ANUBIS - opened the Road to the Otherworld and presided over embalming. He was the Guardian of Offerings
brought to the deceased and protected the mummy from evil forces in the night. The original of this awesome
reproduction dates from 1300 BC and can be found in the Temple of Abydos. This relief measures 5"x6" wide. It is
made of hydrostone and has a hanger on the back. This is a neat piece - just the right size for an altar.
